Ann Cudworth Writes is a fiction newsletter written and published by Ann Cudworth, based in New Hampshire, United States. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit ann-cudworth-writes.com or subscribe to the newsletter, how it is used, and the choices you have. 2. Information collected

I collect only what is needed to run the newsletter:

• Email address and name. When you subscribe, you provide your email address and, optionally, your name.

• Newsletter engagement. Ghost, the platform that runs this newsletter, can record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This helps me understand which stories readers enjoy.

• Basic technical data. Like nearly every website, the servers that host this site may log technical details such as your IP address and browser type for security and reliability.

• Messages you send. If you reply to a newsletter or email me, I receive whatever you choose to include.

3. How your information is used

• To send you the newsletter and any updates you signed up for.

• To manage your subscription, including any paid membership.

• To understand, in general terms, which stories and features readers find most interesting.

• To respond when you contact me.

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and I do not use it for advertising.

This site uses a small number of essential cookies, mainly to keep you signed in as a subscriber. Ghost does not use tracking or advertising cookies by default. There are minimal analytics to tell me about what the open rate is on each post.

A few trusted providers process information on my behalf, only as needed to provide their service:

• Ghost (hosting, subscriber management, and newsletter delivery). Ghost and its email delivery partners handle subscriber data under Ghost’s own privacy policy. I may also disclose information if required by law.

6. How long information is kept

Your information is kept for as long as you remain a subscriber. If you unsubscribe or ask to be deleted, I will remove your personal information within a reasonable time, except for anything I am legally required to keep, such as payment records.

7. Your choices and rights

• You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

• You can update your details through the account link on the website.

• You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you by emailing ACWorth.Writer.@gmail.com.

If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar laws, you have additional rights, including the right to object to certain processing and to complain to your local data protection authority. Where these laws apply, I rely on your consent (for the newsletter) and on contract (for paid subscriptions) as the legal basis for processing.
